Kalpana Gagdekar Chhara is an award-winning theatre artist and a well-known personality in Gujarati Theatre. The Founder Member of Budhan Theatre, she has played a pivotal role to build the nationwide movement for the rights of Denotified Tribes of India. She catapulted to a household name among theatre lovers after recreating the life of “Kasturba”, by playing Kasturba. Kalpana has acted in famous plays like Budhan, Akoopar and many other Gujarati and Hindi plays.
