About Abhivyakti
The City Arts Project
Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project brings together emerging and established artists from across India in a nurturing space to explore, express, and evolve. Rooted in Ahmedabad, Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project began in 2018, its first edition, an approach-and-curate event featuring local stories and talents. Subsequent editions invited fresh concepts from across the country, and provided mentorship + financial support for the premieres of the selected productions at the annual event in Ahmedabad.
While Abhivyakti – The City Arts Project works to make art inclusive and accessible to all, the UNM Foundation is equally committed to fostering holistic community development. The Foundation strives to make quality healthcare affordable through the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre, UNM Children’s Hospital, and various Primary Health Centres. It also focuses on empowering students with practical skills through initiatives such as Learning Development, SuGanitam, Balvatika, and Second Chance programmes. In addition, the Foundation works to create child-friendly learning environments by constructing and upgrading school infrastructure, and to nurture greener cities through the restoration and maintenance of public parks and urban green spaces.
