Ragi Khambhalvi is a musician and writer influenced by legendary artists like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Amaanat Ali Khan, Begam Akhtar, and N. Rajam. Ragi has actively contributed to the music industry as a songwriter, ghazal writer, and composer. Beyond music, he has explored performing in plays, Bhavai, and movies, and even ventured into background music composition. With a growing desire to introduce new concepts to audiences, he embarked on the project of creating "Char Bait Gujarati," a unique artistic form combining storytelling, music, and performance and has developed a comprehensive understanding of the elements necessary for a successful "Char Bait Gujarati" performance. In this edition of Abhivyakti City Arts Project, "Char Bait Gujarati" utilizes words, music, and performance to convey its message to the audience. These performances are designed to be accessible to a wide audience, allowing individuals to sing along, connect with the cultural essence, and enjoy the exhilarating dance elements, wherein the primary goal is to introduce and explain the art of "Char Bait Gujarati" to the public.
