Runal Kolkankar is a theatre actor and director, and the founder of Tatva Theatre. He has been practicing theatre for over 10 years, with training from Kala Academy Goa, and a Master is Performing Arts from the University of Mumbai. His artistic practice blends acting, directing, choreography, stage design, and physical theatre. He works with impulse-based techniques, viewpoints by Anne Bogart, and Tadashi Suzuki’s physical training methods.

Unwritten is a devised performance created collaboratively with five artists, that questions whether we are truly free, or if we are simply following a script written by an unseen force. In this production, the actors are given tasks, and through impulsive responses, the performance takes shape. The process is rooted in ensemble building, improvisation, and physical theatre composition. It will compel one to explore questions of existence not through explanation, but through presence, energy, and collaboration and is like a mirror—it gives back what the audience brings to it, leaving them with their own personal interpretation.
