INGA takes her name from a Tamil word that loosely means ‘to be present’. Fela Kuti’s fearless performances, Devendra Banhart’s eccentric vocals and Jim Morrison’s visual writings have trickled down to birth her eclectic sound. Never one to shy away from experimenting, her ease with unconventional song structures and a stunning vocal range make her music raw, vulnerable & free.

INGA is bringing to the stage a South Indian folk communal storytelling & music performance where ences are equally a part of the performance through clapping, speaking, dancing, singing and expressing themselves freely.

Anointed as the winner of NEXA Music S2 by A.R. Rahman, the Mumbai-based artist has created her own style of genre-fluid music, which she wants the audience to experience as well.
