Kalpana Gagdekar Chhara, is an award winning theatre artist, and a well -known figure in Gujarati Theatre. The Founder Member of Budhan Theatre, Kalpana has played a pivotal role to build the nationwide movement for the rights of Denotified Tribes of India. She catapulted to a household name among theatre lovers after recreating the life of “Kasturba”, by playing Kasturba. Kalpana has acted in famous plays like Budhan, Akoopar and many other Gujarati and Hindi plays
