Soor Taal Chakra is a unique musical experience which blends Indian and Western sounds to narrate the life and essence of Lord Krishna through different phases, from his playful childhood to the depths of the Mahabharata and the celebration of Holi.

The act, developed under the guidance of Dr Rajesh Kelkar, features a rich ensemble of Indian classical and Western instruments creating a fusion that is both informative and deeply engaging. Each segment of the performance presents a familiar story in a refreshing new soundscape, allowing audiences to rediscover well-known moments of Krishna’s life through music.

The concept was born a few years ago with the intent to make classical and fusion music accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The artists behind Soor Taal Chakra believe that music should connect beyond technical understanding and touch the listener’s emotions directly.

With this performance, they invite the audience to experience devotion, rhythm and storytelling in harmony, and to see how diverse forms of music can come together to celebrate one timeless spirit: Krishna.
