Sangeeta Khalsa, a graduate in Fine Arts in Ahmedabad, has a passion for textile and soft furnishing design, inspired by her college research project on villages in western India. She is working on a research project for the Textile Ministry, in which she is working on the arts, crafts and culture of western Indian villages. To find a solution to the wastage of fabric in the hospitality and retail sectors, she founded an organization called "SoftStory", which is committed to the sustainability of textiles.
