Meet Gosai Milan Giri, better known by his stage name Kaal Music, an IT professional by day and a rapper by passion. A self-taught artist inspired by Honey Singh, kr$na and Raftaar, Kaal learned to write, compose and produce his beats from YouTube. His project, Hip Hopion Daayro, fuses the traditional Gujarati art form of Daayro and Chhapakru poetry with modern hip-hop rhythms. It’s an experiment that celebrates heritage while speaking the language of today’s youth, preserving the lyrical richness and wit of Gujarati poetry in a form that makes audiences groove.
