Raka Panda's artistic journey as an artist began while studying at Santiniketan. It was here that he pursued both his B.F.A. and M.F.A. Drawing inspiration from the philosophy and writings of Rabindranath Tagore, Raka poeticized his art while also weaving the essence of everyday life stories into it, which is why Raka defines it as 'folklore'.
