With members from the Chhara community, this performance narrates the past and present of the Chhara community as fact. It does not attempt to provide an explanation for the label it has earned in society; it does not ask for sympathy or empathy. In narrating these stories and experiences, the performance breaks the ‘fourth wall’ between the performers and the audience.
