4 feet ka Sapna

Kalpesh Samel is an actor, director and founder of Tiny Tales Theatre, a travelling company he began in 2017 with a vision to make theatre accessible to children, communities and spaces beyond conventional stages. His journey began as a student at Lalit Kala Kendra in Pune, under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Bhole, and grew through the Goshtarang Fellowship where he trained with Geetanjali and Atul Kulkarni. Over the years, he has collaborated with directors such as Mohit Takalkar, Satish Manwar and Koumarane Valavane, learning to experiment with immersive forms and to collapse the distance between performer and audience. For Kalpesh, every story must feel personal and rooted, which is why his plays often carry reflections of contemporary society through simple, minimal staging.

He presents “The Little Prince”, a work that reinterprets the beloved classic as a story for our times. To him, the book is not just for children but a reminder for adults to preserve innocence and find small joys even in uncertain times. The play situates the tale within a social lens, exploring how war, geography and community shape our ways of seeing. For audiences, it is an invitation to pause, reflect, and discover magic in simplicity.
