Dance is an art form which expresses through mind body and soul. It is a multi-dimensional art and interweaves other art forms viz music , theatre , literature sculpture ( interdisciplinary ). This time i see dance on the platform of abhivyakti as a multi-dimensional art. Classical dance forms have travelled a long way from temples to proscenium and moved out of the traditional frame work to reach to the global audiences. In the same way traditional dances have also weaved modern concepts and technology in its presentation. Holding the roots of any dance form I am looking forward to a blend of good form and technique ,some great literature (in matrubhasha and rashtra bhasha ) being inculcated, to weaving technology and modern ideas and ideology into traditions. In a nut shell good dancing with aesthetically strong concept. A strong connectivity between art, artist and audience. Abhivyakti is all about connectivity - connectivity to every citizen through the medium of art - Dance, Music, Drama & Installation.
