Sanjiv Shah is a senior editor, producer and filmmaker who is largely engaged with documentaries dealing with social issues. His association with feature films includes working in the capacity of an editor for the critically acclaimed film, ‘Mirch Masala’ and directing a Gujarati film, ‘Hun, Hunshi Hunshilal’. He has a diploma in editing from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and sees his continuing interest in documentaries as a tool for recording and disseminating narratives of the displaced and disposed, as well as the impact of modernization on traditional societies.
