As Senior Associate Professor at CEPT University and Head of Exhibitions, he has curated and contributed to numerous national and international exhibitions, collaborating with institutions across India, Europe and Australia. Co-founder of the Design Innovation and Craft Resource Centre (DICRC), Jay has been instrumental in projects that blend traditional craftsmanship with modern design, earning him prestigious awards like the UTFORSK 2020 for his work on craft-design collaboration. His contributions to the field, from research on vernacular furniture to leading impactful studio work, continue to shape the cultural landscape of design education and creative practice.
