Deepak Sharma, popularly known by his stage name Yugraj, is a prolific street dancer. His troupe has performed on a global stage, and won several awards.

He comes to Abhivyakti Edition 2 with his dance troupe, with a scintillating street dance performance concept called Tinge of Actuality. The arc of this 5-part concept starts with a dramatic a video presentation on ‘Sadness’ an emotion that most of us struggle with. The performance then takes audience on a journey of pursuit for happiness, the struggles, the ups & downs, and finally ending on an exhilarating note of glee. He quotes his reason for choosing street dance for Abhivyakti to be: “I want to show people that Street Dance is about concept, and not merely limited to battles between two dance groups.”

One can only imagine, what 20 dancers, outfitted with props like ribbons & colors will do when they take the stage to showcase 2 of humanity’s most powerful emotions.
