Khayal से Gazal तक

The musical form of ‘ghazal’s is very closely related the Hindustani classical tradition, commonly using traditional structure and layout of raags. Despite of these obvious similarities, there are no

performances that feature both ghazals and classical khayal gayaki in one performance. As an attempt to show the differences and similarities in these two traditions, both styles will be presented on a single stage by two singers.
