“Sea Moves, In and Out” is created on acrylic sheets, capturing the layered relationship between people and land. Inspired by the folklore of Canacona, a village said to be founded by a river and a boatman, the work reflects on displacement, belonging and transformation. Through translucent surfaces and fluid imagery, Satyam translates personal and collective memories into visual metaphors of time and movement.

For the artist, this project is both reflection and return, a dialogue between home and history. It invites viewers to sense the quiet stories embedded in the land and to consider how memory, like water, continues to flow, shaping what we inherit and what we leave behind.
