The installation titled “Life Partner: Domestic Edition” is a sculpture created using paper mache and acrylic colours. The artwork is based on the conceptual question: "What if we end up marrying objects?". The artist observes that objects are no longer just tools, as people form deep attachments to them, adjust to their presence, care for them, depend on them and watch them become an integral part of their identity over time.
The artist sees patterns in human-object interaction similar to the Indian concept of Shaadi (Marriage). He notes that Shaadi is a permanent relationship defined by commitment and long-term companionship, reflecting how people live with and depend on their objects through all their "ups and downs". This work reflects these unnoticed transformations, inviting viewers to pause and ask: Is this all there is to see, or is there something more beneath the surface?
