Surrounded by music and dance in a city like Bharuch, the elder Theyal Rucha Anjaria inherited a musical heritage from a young age. Her parents were teachers, while inspired by her grandfather, who was an expert in classical music, she participated in the international youth festival 'Rangpudar' in Italy during her primary school days and represented India on the international stage. After completing her post-graduation in classical music in 2007, she became the Head of the Vocal Department at JG College of Performing Arts in 2008. She has participated in numerous youth festivals and competitions as a performer and judge, and has shared her talent with students across India.
