Raju Barot is a veteran actor with over 50 years of experience. He has done his Diploma in Drama from the Faculty of Performing Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad University, Vadodara. He has also graduated from the National School of Drama, New Delhi and trained at institutions like FTII, Pune. He has worked in the industry as an actor, director, singer, documentary writer and lighting designer. He has acted in numerous plays, including 'Hodolika', 'Ichcha Mari Puri Karo', 'Shakuntala; 'Dutvakayam' and 'Guillotinno Goto'. He has won the 'Gaurav Puraskar', the state's best award in drama, and has received several awards, including the 'Best Playback Singer' award for the film 'Dikri Mari Vhalno Dario'.
