The installation “Finding Red” will be created using Forex sheets constructed into box forms as a surface for pasting, along with two screens. The work explores the layered meanings of red in the lives of women, viewing the color as a language, a mark of presence and a carrier of often unspoken emotions. In this ongoing project, red symbolizes beauty, ritual and strength, but also sacrifice, acceptance and resilience.

The core of the project is to trace this color not as an external decoration but as an internal state of being. The red a woman carries, whether through her shringar or sindoor, holds stories of cultural traditions, expectations, her individuality and silent endurance. The ultimate aim is to uncover how red lives within female identity as a source of strength, acceptance and truth. For the viewers, it's the reminder of the invisible boundaries women navigate every day.
