“Harmonious Conflict” created with underglaze painting on ceramic, reflects Dhruvil’s interest in the coexistence of opposites such as light and darkness, calm and chaos, urban and rural life. The work transforms these contrasts into visual harmony, where stillness and tension exist together in balance. The surfaces, treated with layered glazes, evoke the shifting qualities of light and space, inviting reflection on perception and emotion.

Inspired by a memory of his grandfather resting under the stars in Ahmedabad, the piece becomes a meditation on belonging and change. It speaks of two worlds meeting, the quiet of rural nights and the density of city life, brought together through light, memory and reflection.
