Asmita Amol Thakur is a Kural Kathak artist, teacher and choreographer with a vast experience of 16 years. She runs her own Kathak Dance Institute, where over 100 students are taught the art of Kathak. Asmita has performed in and produced a number of notable productions. Some of the notable ones include 'Pravadini' (Stories of Indian Rivers), 'Samyukt: The Inseparable', 'Nritya Yoga' (A Confluence of Dance & Yoga) 'Chakravyuh the Cycle of Emotional Entrainment" and 'Nadatmika a Story of Rhythm'.
