“अंतराल” reimagines the traditional toran, not as a fixed gateway but as a fragmented memory of what once marked thresholds between sacred and domestic spaces. The installation embodies the “space between,” a moment of transition where the familiar becomes distant and the forgotten resurfaces. Through the interplay of ceramics, terracotta and iron, the work brings together two opposing material worlds- the organic and the industrial, the transient and the enduring. The fragmented toran forms suggest traces of architecture and ritual now eroded by time, evoking both reverence and rupture.
