The Anirudh Varma Collective, an esteemed ensemble recognized by the ICCR, boasts a diverse group of over 200 musicians and artists worldwide. Dedicated to preserving and promoting Indian classical music, the Collective has released two acclaimed albums, "Perspectives" and "Homecoming," and performed over 500 concerts domestically and internationally. Their recent North American tour showcased their captivating blend of tradition and modernity, reaching audiences of all ages and backgrounds. In this edition of Abhivyakti City Arts Project, the Anirudh Varma Collective presents a unique exploration of Kabir Das's writings. Each concert will feature two distinct segments: a raw rendition of Kabir's original compositions and a fully orchestrated performance by the entire ensemble. This dual approach aims to offer audiences a comprehensive understanding of Kabir's timeless message through both traditional and contemporary interpretations.
