Smit Bhatt developed a deep-rooted passion for singing from a young age, influenced by his music-loving family, he has graduated with Bachelor’s and Master’s in Performing Arts from JG College and Upasana School of Performing Arts respectively. He has been significantly influenced by the teachings of Sant Kabir, and he strives to understand and incorporate his teachings into his performances. Whether it's classical, devotional, or film compositions, Smit's dream is to create and perform his original songs, sharing his unique artistic vision with the world. In this edition of Abhivyakti City Arts Project, Smit has been inspired by timeless tales like Panchatantra and Akbar-Birbal and seeks to recapture the joy and learning these stories once provided. In today's digital age, where attention spans are dwindling and caged in the endless scrolling of short videos and posts, the performance offers a much-needed escape to kids and parents alike from the constant distractions of screens by featuring songs that reflect everyday life experiences with deeply ingrained cultural values.
