Kiran Panchal started his journey as an artist at PIE Family by performing various plays in Gandhinagar. He has a drama degree from Gujarat college and has won a Chitralekha competition. In 2019, he ventured into stand-up comedy and simultaneously established a club named ‘Worddict Club.’ Through this club, they provide a platform to local artists, mixing humour and poetry. In this edition of Abhivyakti City Arts Project, Kiran along with his team brings a concept called ‘Marzi Mushayra’ which blends traditional poetry recitation with humour and audience-driven challenges, making it a light-hearted and entertaining event. In this format, the focus is not only on poetic expression but also on wit, satire, and humour. The humour that ‘Marzi Mushayra’ would talk about is everyday life, social issues, and playful exaggerations.
