Devanshu, a thespian and playwright, has delivered Nukkad Naataks, stage shows and performances in Ahmedabad since 2017. Having been a part of Abhivyakti Edition 4 in play production, he holds a passion for writing and directing stories. Devang holds a Bachelor's in Performing Arts and has won the ‘Best Actor’ Award from the prestigious INT. In addition to his passion for theatre direction, Devang has also acted on stage, with his recent prominent role being 'Bapuji' in the play ‘Bapuji ni Chhelli Ichha’ during Abhivyakti Edition 5. In this edition of Abhivyakti City Arts Project, the duo showcases a situational story behind development chaos, land acquisition and how sentiments are connected with a piece of land. ‘Coming Soon’ is about Yogesh, desperate for money for his mother’s medical treatment, who finds out about his ancestral land which is now used as a graveyard. Navigating through ways of reclaiming his land for money, the play explores the balance between honouring the deceased and asserting property rights.
