Her installation, “Fragments of Silence” is a potent piece that bravely gives tangible voice to what remains unspoken in society. The work explores the vulnerable emotional spaces where conventional language fails, where the complex processes of grief, fractured memory and healing painfully intertwine. The piece is constructed using ink, thread and intensely layered mark-making, transforming fragmented written text and internal thoughts into tactile traces of suppressed feeling.
The artist uses the work to challenge the audience to confront the invisibility of mental distress. The core takeaway is an imperative to acknowledge the silence that surrounds deep-seated emotional pain and to resist the pressure to normalize what is inherently damaging.
