The Holy Cow: Reverence or Exploitation

Crafted entirely from metal scrap, The Holy Cow – Reverence or Exploitation reimagines discarded industrial remnants as a sacred form embodying both devotion and contradiction. The sculpture questions how reverence can coexist with neglect, transforming scrap into a symbol of life and worship while exposing society’s exploitative tendencies. Through this act of material resurrection, the artwork becomes a meditation on transformation—how waste can carry grace and how creation can emerge from what has been abandoned.
The piece ultimately speaks to humanity’s complex relationship with nature, faith and consumption. It stands as both a tribute and a critique—inviting reflection on what we choose to value and what we are willing to discard.
